Stars of the business
When we heard that eight Barclays colleagues had been nominated for a prestigious women in tech award – more than any other single organisation – we knew it was something we should shout about.
Experience told us that a “we have been nominated” article may not get the engagement we wanted, so rather than writing a straight piece, we decided to get the nominees together for a round-table discussion. And where better as a location than Rise London, the bank’s fintech workspace in Shoreditch?
In just two hours – and with the generous participation of five of the nominees, one of whom had travelled down from the bank’s innovation centre in Cheshire – we had enough footage to create two short videos and a fun, shareable GIF, as well as a stunning Vanity Fair-style portrait.
Alongside the two stories we had prepared from email interviews, this amounted to a comprehensive package of content that got excellent engagement, becoming one of home.barclays’ top 10 stories from the previous 12 months and attracting more than 500 LinkedIn likes.
Just another example of how we help clients articulate their brand values in the most human, emotive way possible. All in all, a very satisfying afternoon’s work!
