‘We are Royal Mail’ campaign shortlisted for Institute of Internal Communication ‘Best Crisis Campaign’


‘We are Royal Mail’ – our multi-channel campaign for Royal Mail Group focusing on the power of teamwork – has been nominated for ‘Best Crisis Campaign’ in the 2018 Institute of Internal Communication Awards.

The campaign has seen the Speak team travel the length and breadth of the UK – from Birmingham to Belfast and Tamworth to Edinburgh – in search of inspiring stories from Royal Mail’s frontline workforce.

Throughout the year, these stories have been presented to the 160,000-strong workforce as part of a series of coordinated executions across nine channels including print, intranet, film and social.

Paul Williams, client services director at Speak Media, said: “Our team has been working with the communications team at Royal Mail for more than five years, so we pride ourselves on knowing how to find and tell the best stories from within the organisation.

“This project has given us the opportunity to get even more ‘up close and personal’ with the people on the ground – while creating a truly standout internal communications campaign – and we’ve enjoyed every second of it.”
